San Diego Sheriff

Law Enforcement

  • The Sheriff's office has a list of general safety tips for seniors - view it here

  • Don't get hooked on scams targeting seniors! SD County Health and Human Services and the SD County Sheriff have assembled an informational booklet about common scams and how to identify and help victims - view it here.

  • The Take Me Home Program is a regional photo-based information system hosted by the Sheriff's Department and accessible by all Law Enforcement in San Diego. It is designed to assist Law Enforcement during contacts with the members of the community who have disabilities, such as but not limited to Autism, Dementia, Alzheimer's, Down Syndrome, Deafness, or any other Developmental Disabilities. San Diego HHSA
  • County of San Diego Describes the County's many services to seniors, persons with special needs, and caretakers. It also provides directions for contacting the agency's telephone information specialists who can connect callers with such services as case management and adult protection and advocacy. Visit here.

  • Provides up-to-date information about health, social, and disaster services available from non-profit agencies throughout the county. Information specialists can be reached by dialing the three numbers: 2-1-1.
