Transportation is the key to independence. DMCC transportation services provide several options to answer the needs of seniors who no longer drive, including those who use wheelchairs, helping them to live independently in the homes they love.
Sassy Chassis
DMCC's Sassy Chassis van is used for essential group transportation services for Del Mar seniors who no longer drive. It is also used for cultural, social, and educational outings sponsored by DMCC, such as our Explorers series, the theater, movies, and more.
Grocery Shuttle
The DMCC Grocery Shuttle provides free door-to-door transportation to area grocery and drug stores twice weekly. Assistance with shopping and carrying packages is available.
Volunteer Drivers
DMCC has a team of volunteer drivers that provide free rides to medical and essential appointments to Del Mar seniors who no longer drive.
Wheelchair-Accessible Foxy Flyer
DMCC's "Foxy Flyer" van is available to provide free transportation to medical and other essential appointments for Del Mar residents who use wheelchairs, and those recovering from surgery.
