The Supernova Volunteers of DMCC

Del Mar Community Connections hosted our annual volunteer appreciation event on April 25, 2025, this year themed "DMCC Volunteers are OUT OF THIS WORLD!" The 70 guests, from our total volunteer roster of 118, were treated to fresh baked pizza, good wine, and an alien hunt game as a small token of gratitude for all they do to care for the older adults of Del Mar.
We welcomed representatives from State Senator Catherine Blakespear's office and County Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer's office, who delivered official recognition for the hard work and dedication of the community members.
Linda Chisari, the volunteer who for 23 years has led the monthly Singing Together singlong activity from her living room piano, was honored as DMCC's 2025 Volunteer of the Year.
